Legacy Way Air Quality
Legacy Way Air Quality
Transurban Queensland operates the Legacy Way tunnel in accordance with conditions established by the Queensland Co-ordinator General.
Unvalidated air quality data for the Legacy Way tunnel is shown below. View monthly validated Legacy Way air quality reports.
In-Tunnel Air Quality
The In-Tunnel Air Quality graph displays the previous hour’s average, each hour, for:
- Carbon monoxide (CO)
- Nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
- Visibility coefficient (K)
Data is plotted according to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
Note:
- Monitoring and measuring protocols for each criteria as set out in the PIARC guidelines, as current December 2009.
- 2. Carbon Monoxide (CO) may fluctuate when peak traffic congestion occurs (ie traffic flows are less than 10 km/h).
- 3. Visibility coefficient (K) may fluctuate with peak traffic conditions (ie free flowing traffic refers to a greater speed than 50km/hr).
